Dear Valued Customer,
We are sure that you may be wondering what is happening at Creative House. Contrary to many rumors, we are not closing our doors any time soon.
Due to conflicts and duplication of representation of the Janome line in Saskatoon and area, Creative House will no longer carry Janome or Elna machines and accessories. We still believe strongly in the BRANDS as the best value for the consumer in the industry today, it is just the duplication of representation that we do not agree with. We continue to offer service and support to our customers for the machines that we have sold. Lyle is moving his shop and will be down for several weeks. We expect that he will be servicing machines again by January 2014. We will send out a notice once he has his new shop set up.
As Wendy and I each have some health issues and we are not getting any younger, after giving up Janome and Elna, we have decided to take a couple of steps back. We are currently looking for someone who is interested in purchasing Creative House as an ongoing business. If we don’t find this person in the near future, we are considering operating Creative House as an Internet Only Business. We will keep you informed.
We have also placed our commercial embroidery business, Broadway Embroidery & Clothing Co., UP FOR SALE. After over 30 years of providing both wholesale and retail embroidery services to consumers and businesses in Saskatoon and the surrounding area, it is time for us to pass the baton to the next generation. Although our children have all worked in the business over the years, they have now moved on to other independent careers and are not inclined to make the commitment needed for this venture.
Many of you are familiar with our Stitchitize Stock Designs. This company now operates primarily through the Internet and it’s Dealer Network. Creative House is the Stitchitize Dealer in Saskatoon. Shortly, we will be relocating this operation to a more efficient and cost effective location.
